We are looking for

  • Candidates with qualifications in accounting and bookkeeping or equivalent international qualifications and experience; or
  • Candidates currently working as bookkeepers are and are looking to grow their practice by providing tax agent services.
  • Multiple consultant positions are available in city and regional locations across Australia for candidates who meet our criteria.

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be shortlisted for onboarding based on qualifications and business needs in their location.
  • Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a FREE online onboarding training on Income tax and BAS preparation skills.
  • A 12-month independent contractor agreement is offered on completion of online onboarding training.

Role Description:

Our Bookkeepers/Tax Consultants provide services for individuals and small to medium-business clients that may include:

  • Preparation of income tax returns for individuals and/or businesses under the supervision of a Registered Tax Agent.
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) for businesses under the supervision of a Registered BAS Agent.
  • Preparation of end-of-year financial reports under the supervision of an Accountant.
  • Processing employee payroll, including PAYG withholding, superannuation and other liability reporting.
  • Performing day-to-day bookkeeping functions.
  • Preparation of business performance reports.
  • Performing reconciliations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
